We got a collections notice today for a $44 bill for Avery. Really, Austin Radiological Association? Collections for $44...when you already received the contractual payment in a timely fashion from our primary insurance carrier?
Just FYI, many other providers waived portions of Avery's fees. But you win, your $44 is in the mail. Don't spend it all in one place.

And people wonder why the health care industry is under attack. I am sorry they were so insensitive. I would have been tempted to write a note in the Memo block, "TO INSENSITIVE JERKWADS." But they are off ur back now.
jerks.... i'm sorry.
We have a collections notice for a $226 blood test for Dave...a blood test his doctor required, but entered the wrong insurance code for. The medical industry...O M G.
That's a bit heartless and disgusting. I'll choose to assume the biller didn't know the circumstances or anything; it was just a bill. And why NOW are you just hearing about it? Jeez.
So sorry; awful.
